Angel pupdate JANUARY 2018 (OLD)
Hi everyone! Sorry I haven't posted for AGES! No one told me how time consuming puppies are (FYI I did sort of know but didn't realise how much attention and how many trips outside!).
Angel is now 17weeks old and weighs around 13kg (28 pounds). She has been going for proper walks for the last month and has started training classes (she is doing pretty well).
Unfortunately she has had an upset tummy for the last few weeks and is having to have boiled chicken and rice with a small amount of kibble. We have changed her from Skinners field and trail chicken and rice to Eden fish cuisine as the Skinners was upsetting her tummy.
She has now learnt how to sit down on command (the one upside to her being ill is we had to give her no food for a day so she was really hungry and would do anything the next day for food!) and wee on command. To start with she wouldn't got to the toilet outside but now never goes inside unless she gets very over excited (Tip: get a plastic storage box and put some wood shavings in it and they will use it like a litter tray.)
She is getting the hang of fetch (good thing as she is a Labrador retriever! :o ) and loves chasing a ball inside of a sock (an old sock!).
